Dit boek geeft de lezer een goed inzicht in het strafrecht en strafprocesrecht. Anders dan in andere handboeken kiezen de auteurs ervoor om de materie niet vanuit de klassieke opdeling materieel strafrecht – strafprocesrecht te behandelen, maar vanuit de chronologie van een strafprocedure te vertrekken.
